22 Apr 2016 I was with them for 22 years and leaving was the best decision I ever made!
24 Mar 2016 I couldn't agree more. I left them after 13 years, and wish I had done it long before. Business opportunities have increased, and costs have gone way down; especially FCA fees etc which were much more with Sesame.
22 Sep 2015 Sesame is crumbling and I am leaving. The Key and Practice Management are awful, due diligence is horrendous, the GI choice is pathetic and they have been deeply dishonest about commission skims. File-checking is very sporadic but incredibly pedantic (e.g. why did you recommend own occupation IP rather than any occupation?).
1 Apr 2015 No issues - they do what you want a network to do! Good rates of pay for proc fees & possibly the best rates for life
23 Feb 2010 I was thinking about speaking to Sesame but I have been informed they tie you into a contract for a rolling 12 month period and if you overshoot this you will be paying for support services for another 12 months even if you have left
20 Mar 2008 Can anyone figure out how their additional o.o1% deduction actually applies....as the commissions dept can't they keep deducting amounts far in excess of this...what has happened at Sesame they used to be so good with commissions now all I seem to be doing is calling them up every week to stop them incorrectly calculating their own deductions from the gross proc fee which you would have thought is a very basic thing. Any S members please carefully look at you payments and match them to original offer letters as there seems to be huge disparities between what were supposed to be getting paid and what they are actually paying
5 Feb 2007 I've been with Sesame over 3 years now and have no major problems. Mortgage research is not up to date and often wrong, but they're OK.
5 Feb 2007 More chipping away of our income by additional charges.... Not a bad set up (if you ignore BMU), but could be pricing themselves out of the market
25 Jan 2007 Yet another increase in fees!! BMU almost impossible to deal with. I am getting out.
7 Aug 2006 I have been with Sesame for a year now as a mortgage broker and I find the comm and service fine. Nobody is in your face Sesame have a responsible to make sure a broker's business is being conducted properly and I have no problems with that.A broker should be responsible for their own CPA and training. I would rather have compliance tight that have a visit from the FSA. A network that lets brokers get away with the minimum requirements to get them on board is going to have to tighten their system at some point. better the devil you know is true. I have been in financial services for 20 years and been with DBS before. 92% comm seems good to me.
5 Jun 2006 Would any ex Sesame member be able to give me feedback on their experience in leaving Sesame. I am considering direcly authorising.
21 Mar 2006 Ican tell you from personal experience that things have generally got better over the last few months. Whst I can't understand is why things had been allowed to slip in the first place.
9 Jan 2006 I agree with the comments from the last poster. It trakes an age to find someone to give you an answer, but when they do the nformation is good. Mortgage proce fees are on the of the reasons why we choose to stay.
15 Nov 2005 I'd leave if I could
