We have had a deluge of calls from brokers struggling to place remortgages with mild adverse credit.
It seems that one of the main remortgage lenders for this type of business has significantly tightened its criteria and others have followed suit.
If your clients have been affected by this, bear in mind that many of our lenders will disregard certain adverse credit which can mean borrowers can still borrow up to 85% LTV. A wide range of loans are available for differing levels of adverse credit and also for clients who have difficulty proving sufficient income to satisfy 1st mortgage lenders.
