Society extends its lending area to the whole of Wales & England for residential lending up to 95% LTV

We’re pleased to share the news about the expansion of our lending area in which residential mortgage loans of 95% Loan to Value (LTV) will be available with immediate effect. Our Buy-to-Let range is also available across England and Wales.

We hope the expansion will have a positive impact on the number of products available to your customers. This change will enable the society to continue its commitment to helping first time buyers across England and Wales achieve their goal of getting on the property ladder.

While we update our systems for brokers outside the previous 14 core postcode areas* you may experience an automatic decline when trying to submit a case above 80% LTV using the Broker Online system. To overcome this issue our broker sales team will look after these ‘out of area’ cases by providing manual system over-rides on a per case basis. All BTL business will continue to be submitted on a paper application.

Our commitment to brokers

We’ll always pay 0.35% procuration fees for completed residential mortgages, plus 0.30% for rate switches, and 0.45% for Buy-to-Let.
