Got any foreign national clients?
The process might seem daunting, but Foundation Home Loans accepts non-EU, EEA, and non-UK foreign nationals, potentially opening doors for many foreign property buyers.
What is our criteria?
We accept applications from Non-UK foreign nationals so long as they meet the minimum residency requirements at the time of the application:
- Indefinite leave to remain (settlement)
- Right of abode
- For EU/EEA/Swiss nationals: Settled or pre-settled status

What if your client doesn't meet these criteria?
We use manual underwriting, which means we can be flexible regarding decisions. We may still consider your client's application if you can provide the following:
- A suitable working visa that allows them to extend their stay in the UK
- A visa that permits them to apply for indefinite leave to remain
