SortRefer achieves Investors in People accreditation
15 June 2016
SortRefer, the online financial services referral portal for intermediaries, has announced that it has achieved full accreditation to the prestigious Investors in People core standard.
Investors in People, set up in 1991, sets the standard for better people management. The internationally recognised accreditation is held by 14,000 organisations across the world. The Standard defines what it takes to lead, support and manage people well for sustainable results underpinned by a rigorous assessment methodology and a framework which reflects the very latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures required to outperform in any industry.
According to SortRefer’s Managing Director, Kevin Tunnicliffe, for a growing business whose primary asset is its employees, the Investors in People accreditation process allowed SortRefer to further align its business goals with the development of its employees.
He said, “This was a voyage of discovery because no matter how much you think you are doing everything a modern employer should be doing to motivate, develop and communicate with your employees, we learnt a huge amount which we have endeavoured to put into practice. It has made us a better business for our employees, our partners and our customers.
We are delighted to have achieved this accreditation and I would urge every business in the financial services market to invest in this process.”
