Saffron launches intermediary mortgage portal

Saffron For Intermediaries, the dedicated broker channel of Saffron Building Society, has launched its new Intermediary Mortgage Portal.
The Mortgage Portal has been designed to enable brokers to select a Saffron mortgage product, request a DIP, submit a full mortgage application and monitor all their clients’ cases online and at any time to suit them.
The Portal is:
- Easy to use – it doesn’t need any special software and can be accessed via most web browsers including Explorer, Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
- Accessible 24/7 – the Portal can be used at any time of day or night.
- Paperless – all supporting documents can be scanned and submitted online.
- Self-contained – each screen includes all relevant instructions; there is a Quick Start Guide and if brokers have any remaining questions; they can speak to a Saffron expert.
- Part of Saffron’s personal approach – expert underwriters will still review applications using their skill, experience and common sense to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible.

Brokers can start using the new Portal by going to Saffron’s website: www.saffronforintermediaries.co.uk and clicking on the Portal link. The first time they use the Portal they will need to register but thereafter they can simply log-on and start working straightaway.
