If payments was due on the 1st November....I doubt they would have been stopped in time (as most institutuons seem to require 10 days notice to amend DDMs within the DDM Guarnatee rules???).

You're absolutely correct that scheduled Direct Debits may still go through if they're not cancelled in time. However, in these cases, the client is usually reimbursed by the creditor, so the client will still see the benefit once the refund is processed.

A key point here is that we completed this case at exceptional speed, within just one day. By meeting the client’s timeline for the 1st of November, they have now reduced their monthly outgoings by £672, moving them into a monthly surplus rather than leaving them short. This fast turnaround means they’ll be able to see these benefits quickly! :)
