27 Mar 2008 I spent hours with a client the other evening and recommended C&G for their requirements. Today they noticed they can get it cheaper direct from C&G; thanks a lot. Awful; they undercut me after I do all the work.

19 Dec 2007 Most useless unresponsive company I have ever not dealt with. They are unprofessional without a glimmer of any expertise. They treat introducers with absolute distain. This is a company that does not deserve to receive any business from introducers.
10 Dec 2007 I used to submit and appreciate the service provided by the branch. I submitted my first case on caseflow.The system needs to be looked at by professionals.Not user-friendly and not updated regularly.Phone calls are never responded by human beings.All BDMs are on annual leave.Branches refuse to get involved. Best suggestion is to stop taking on business till all backlog is cleared and wwithdraw products from Sourcing systems. All networks should also notify their members regarding poor service. Are they competing with the WOOLWICH?

4 Sep 2007 In my opinion C & G's CASEFLOW is the worst mortgage system on the web, if you want to keep a good relationship with your client, Leave caseflow well alone. I believe this is the worst mortgage site and apparently many of the staff are about to lose their jobs as a result of Lloyds TSB so apparently they are totally demotivated
22 Aug 2007 My local office was brillant but sadly now all the staff have left nobody seem to care or even know what they are doing. They ahve got it totally wrong at the moment

23 May 2007 How can you possibly get the offer wrong for 4 (four) times after I confirmed it in writing? I'm staying away from C&G for a loooooooooong time.

27 Mar 2007 C&G are a nightmare! One very important BTL client, file lost I had to fax everything again after 4 weeks. NO-ONE returns calls, that is a must if only to say there is a problem, we would be sympathetic. NO-ONE makes a decision. I will never recommend them again no matter how good their products are. Take a leaf out of BM Solutions book C&G!!!!!
23 Mar 2007 Recent criticisms a bit unfair - they got overwhelmed because they kept good fixed rates longer than others. A bit inconsistent, though. Some cases sail through, others declined.

28 Feb 2007 Leicester branch - still very good - admin annoyed me recently with wrong info but thats been a one off to date. They go out of they way to get a case through.
20 Nov 2006 C&G have just started lending in NI. My 1st (and last) case was a pure nightmare - direct intermediary application took 6 weeks to get an offer from them. couldn't contact the case owner in Glasgow processing centre when needed and they didn't return calls. I ended up contacting their Chief Exec to get the mortgage moving....never never again!!!!
12 Oct 2006 At Leicester Branch, both Manager and Consultant are always available to help personally. Product range has improved dramatically and fixed rate plus products mean I dont have to always go to Northern Rock for FTB's.

5 Jun 2006 I agree with the comments noted, however it is a shame the Northampton branch cant seem to match the good intermediary service provided by others. The staff seem to think they are above us IFA's.

21 Feb 2006 Dealing with Pam at the New Milton branch is a delight! I dread the day that C&G go down the same service centre route as all the other lenders. We can speak to an individual who we know and trust and always delivers. Please don't change C&G!
9 Feb 2006 Dealing with the local office is a pleasure. Shame the products don't always add up to the best deal for the clients.I would use them more offen if I could find any FTBs around.
