15 Nov 2013 I cannot believe how they have allowed their service levels to drop so low again. Did they not learn from the last time.
14 Nov 2013 Now been told that it takes 3 days to acknowledge correspondence and 11 working days to underwrite. 11 working days!! That's over 2 weeks sat in a pile. Totally appalling! And we get the blame.
8 Nov 2013 Must have met the end on year targets for 2014 as the last 5 cases have been rejected but passed elsewhere or passed with TMW and rejected after looking under a few rocks. Last one underwriter phoned and said in effect she did not like the clients lifestyle

14 Jun 2013 TMW's current abysmal service levels are not due to high levels of applications, but purely down to the staff's lack of mortgage and processing knowledge

29 May 2013 Service at moment is very very poor. 4 weeks to get a valuation done and e-mails saying something is done when it's not and then having to chase them.
14 May 2013 I hate TMW they seem to be completely inconsistent with their criteria and make it up as they go along. I just wish there was another more BTL lenders without minimum income, they could have all my cases them and take them away from this bunch. My BDM is also strictly a tow the line guy and useless (also not empathetic).
14 May 2013 Mortgage offers only last 3 months and most others 6. Service is very slow.
14 May 2013 I aim NEVER to use them again, unless I really have no other choice. Takes them 48 hours to look at anything as well.
14 May 2013 I have found them to be pretty on the ball and quite flexible. Granted their systems can be a bit of a pain having to re-key the same info if any changes are made rather than just let them know what has changed...but on the whole have been fine with me.

2 Oct 2006 Did a second mortgage for a client and the rental income did not stack up, so they used the excess rental from the other property to allow the full lending! Wow!

14 Mar 2006 Apart from products I can't believe anybody could have a good word to say about them. Appalling service and watch out for additional charges for anything slightly out of the normal.
10 Feb 2006 in my opinion - Service slow/ nightmare to get through on the phone - we wont use them anymore
8 Feb 2006 I have used their self-cert wit the affordability calculator and was really pleased with the way things turned out. Service was a bit of an issue (not helped by a knowledgeless and pushy teenage estate agent!!), but they were keen to help where they could.
