10 Sep 2024 We moved to HLP January 2024 from 8 years at our old network provider and the transition has been very smooth with unlimited help from HLP seinor managment and staff. Systems and processes are slick and makes commen sense rather than ticking a box just because the box is there.
4 Sep 2024 I joined HLP in Feb this year and i am delighted. Having been with some other networks / DA firms in the past, HLP are a breath of fresh air. Systems work, and the business development content is great and all part of the membership. Obtaining CAS status was pain free with a dedicated file checker who you could pick up the phone to. I would highly recommend HLP network.

19 Feb 2024 I have recently joined the HLP network as a new business owner. I found the application process straight forward and easy to understand. Since joining the network the service from HLP has been great. They are always on hand to answer questions from system issues to compliance dilemmas. Brilliant service so far!
19 Feb 2024 Brilliant network. Moved over in October 2023 from Tenet. Have been supported incredibly well since first contact up to now. Systems easy to use and process clear, but the people and support really make the difference.
26 Jan 2024 I have been with HLP for coming up to two years now and I am happy with the support that I receive. I can speak to anyone at any time and that is a nice thing having previously been at a network where it was emails and delayed responses. The systems are OK and compliance file checks are fine in my opinion. Overall, I am happy I made the move from my previous network (having worked under both Primis and Stonebridge before) - it seems a much more "friendly" place - where people do care about you and your business. As with anything, there are things they do get wrong sometimes, but the positives firmly outweigh the negatives.
15 Dec 2023 Only been with the Network since October 2023 but so far i like their Systems and the service over the phone/e-mail with the BDM and service team has been good. The 360 Advice system could do with some changes but overall much better than what I've used previously.
15 Dec 2023 I joined in August with Tom Barnett, and the experience has been fantastic. Every inquiry I've had was addressed promptly. The Regional Compliance Manager and Case Compliance Manager have been exceptionally easy to collaborate with. I wholeheartedly recommend HLP as a network for anyone considering establishing themselves as an AR.
15 Dec 2023 Onboarded back In July with Tom Barnett and its been a great journey so far. Every question I've had has been dealt with promptly and whoever I have asked has taken ownership of the query and delivered a prompt response. My biggest fear when joining from a DA firm was compliance and the structure at HLP with a Regional Compliance Manager (Amy Parry in my case) and then one case checker for consistency has been really easy to work with. Amy has been a great help not just with compliance but as an ex adviser with a whole host of my other questions around the CRM system and general process. I happily recommend HLP as a network to anyone looking to set up as an AR.

15 Dec 2023 Having been through the complete nightmare that was Tenet for the last few years I made the decision to leave. I considered going DA but I like the supoort that a good network can offer my business leaving me to get on with writing new business rather than worrying about analysing compliance updates and FCA guidance. Having spoken with Tom at HLP over a significant period I made the decision to joint them . I was onboard in September this year and they have been superb and a real breath of fresh air compared to my old network. They have a 'can do' attitude and i have been impressed by their fresh and innovative attitude to business. If you are thinking about joining a network I would 100% recommend HLP, give Tom a call.

15 Jun 2023 I've been with HLP for just over 6 months at present. Really impressed with the systems and processes. They'll happily leave you alone or be on the end of the phone with as much support as you need. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a new home.

In particular, Tom Barnett who helps with the onboarding side of things was super and really stood out against the other networks that I spoke with. HLP have guided me through every step of the process and been on hand to answer any questions that I have had. My first few months with HLP have been great, with support available whenever needed and great systems in place, which enable me to offer a better service to my clients. Very impressed!
3 Jan 2023 I have been with HLPartnership 3 months, found them to be extremely good, plenty of contact to ensure all is going well and offering lots of help. Everyone you deal with is very friendly even file checks are a pleasure to do with lots of again, help. Tom Barnett was very supportive with my changeover. If in doubt with your current network I would highly recommend you get in touch with Tom.
3 Jan 2023 I was unsure which network to join when going self employed, I had researched a fair few but their systems were a bit old and clunky and serveral friends gave me feedback on networks they were with but none seemed quite right. After watching a you tube blog on networks I came across HLP who I’d not heard of before, I spoke with Tom and even though they cost slightly more they were very good, quick with everything & their systems and crm seemed a million miles infront of others I had spoken to. Since signing up with them I received weekly updates and everything has been very quick and easy, anything I have been stuck with and there has been someone on hand straight away to sort it. Love their systems too they are so quick and easy to use, very modern and up to date, the built in crm and business register saves a huge job.
6 Jun 2021 When I was given notice by Quilter Financial Planning last year, I felt that this was going to be a very difficult time for me going forward as I had always enjoyed being part of the Positive Solutions now Quilter Financial Planning network. However I think it has turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I was recommended to contact the HL Partnership Network by someone who felt they would be a good fit for my business, they were spot on. I was contacted by Tom Barnett a recruitment manager following my enquiry, from that moment on, I knew that if Hl Partnership were happy with my business structure, then I had made the right decision to apply for membership with them. As we all know the process of moving networks or from directly authorised to a network can be very onerous, the team at HL Partnership network helped considerably in making it a little less challenging. I am very grateful to all the members of the network, who due to the pandemic, I have yet to meet, have made me feel very welcome, assisted me in understanding the HL Partnership procedures and compliance requirements, they have all made themselves available to be contacted at anytime and responded quickly. I am delighted to be an authorised representative of HL Partnership Network and look forward to being so for many years to come. 1 Jun 2021 I joined HLP earlier this year and simply cannot fault them. From the support Tom provided to me when getting set up to Adil (who I have pestered with queries on too many occasions to mention) to Bernice and Annika on the Compliance side - everything has been even better than I could have wanted. I cannot recommend HLP highly enough.

I also love how personal it can be sometimes. When I joined I was sent cupcakes with my company logo and HLPs logo on them. Also, just last week I sent an email to ask a question and the HLP director called me to answer it. Incredible!

5 Feb 2021 I have been with HLP for less than 6 months and enjoying the support of the network that to me really looks after you as an individual not just a number. The systems could do with a little tweak hence the 4.5 stars for software but as a network specifically for mortgage and protection they are fabulous and it's great to see them at the top of the network list! Well deserved, I just hope they don't get that big that they lose the family feel that they currently have.
4 Feb 2021 I was employed at a DA firm previously & had been working from home for a while due to the Covid restrictions. I had spent that much time at home that I felt going back & working in an office just wasn't for me. I decided to set up on my own in May 2020 & was appointed with HLP in July 2020. They came recommended to me by another broker. Their proposition seemed better than any other network I had spoken to. Everyone involved from the BDM Tom to one of the the Directors Shaun were really helpful. The process was really straight forward & clear & everyone was on hand to answer any queries. The training was online which was actually good considering it was all done via Zoom. The trainer Becky made it really engaging & easy. The fee's aren't excessive, payments are prompt & compliance isn't over complicated. My Compliance Manager Bernice is amazing! I can ring her anytime & she checks in on me to see how I'm getting on. Unbeknown to me at the time I'd picked up some really bad habits...it wasn't until I had the backing of a super compliance team that I realised how much support they give you and how many corners were cut at my previous DA firm. Slowly but surely I can feel myself progressing & it genuinely wouldn't have happened without the guidance & support I've had at HLP. I'd recommend to any adviser on the look out for a network to get in touch with them & have a chat.
4 Feb 2021 I have been with HLP since September 2020 and they are a true breath of fresh air. Everyone that I speak to can't help me enough. It's nice to be involved with a network that really does care about it's advisers! The training was a little weird being remote but the trainer handled everything really well and I had very few concerns moving forward regarding compliance.
29 Sep 2020 Just appointed with HLP last week after 10 years with TenetLime, the onboarding process has been superb, quite surprised how quickly my FCA registration came through. Induction course last month to familiarise ourselves with the systems etc and since coming on board have had calls and meeting with with several people to offer any assistance we require, i have a couple of designated people to assist which i think is really useful. Had a couple of very positive common sense meetings / calls with compliance to ensure we understand each other and look forward to building ongoing relationships with them to ensure a smooth process. I.T. systems very user friendly and common sense seems to prevail.
29 Sep 2020 Having been with Tenet for over 11 years i was reluctant to leave, but with IO they put me in a position of no choice. I did the usual beauty parade of networks and HLP stood out not just because of the system and commercial offering but the people seemed to want us on board and seemed like people we could work with. Having been through the joining and leaving process. I am relieved and pleased all at once. Getting away from Tenet is like severing a cancerous limb and joining HLP is like been given the all clear. EVERYONE without exception has been amazing, but a special mention to Tom Barnett who has been ever present and instrumental in getting us across. Thank you to all involved we are looking to many happy years writing business in a compliant and efficient manner.
29 Sep 2020 After 5 years with Tenet we were sad to say goodbye, largely due to the forced use of IO which just didn't suit our business. From start to finish during the onboarding and authorisation process, our BDM Tom has been absolutely amazing! We've been lucky enough to meet Shaun, Neil and speak directly with Chris T and we're incredibly excited to get going. HLP's down-to-earth attitude, personal and caring nature and unrivalled worth ethic make them absolutely the number one choice for us. Whether you're a one man band or a large firm, I would HIGHLY recommend HLP!

26 Oct 2018 MSN, have been a game-changer for me since my first phone-call. They listened to my individual needs and were more than happy to assist at all costs. The time & consistent effort spent with me, during the FCA approval process was second to none and they updated me weekly, which was a huge benefit to me. I only became live in August 2018 and I honestly have 0 complaints/concerns about my choice. They are so quick to assist and anything they do, is always with genuine care & integrity. I never feel like, a burden (and I have had many reasons to have to call, refs process, help, etc!) They are just always happy to help, every time. Their mantra of being like a family, I can honestly say from the inside, is very accurate! There are a lot of bigger networks muscling in for new AR's nowadays, but please do not hesitate to talk to Shaun or MSN before making a judgement call. Thank you all at MSN and long may the relationship continue.
16 Aug 2018 After a lifetime working in the Banking industry I joined the Mortgage Support Network in March as an AR. Across the board they have been brilliant from being able to assist with sourcing queries (and I have had plenty) to receiving general guidance and last but not least from my Compliance Manager who has been absolutely superb. My only regret is that I didn't join sooner !
17 May 2018 I'm really happy with everything mortgage support network has done for me so far - just launched with them so haven't had any payment runs yet but feedback from other brokers suggest its very quick. Thank you for everything!
8 May 2018 MSN change my life. If you are considering using a network MSN is the one to go for. They really care about their partners and always make sure your needs are priority. Very flexible approach and really quick in adding value to your business. Their procurations etc are very good and they are fast paying. Would not imagine going elsewhere.

4 May 2018 I have been with Mortgage Support Network since March as a new A/R , MSN have been fantastic and very much feel part of the family already, everybody in the whole of the network has been totally supportive and always answer any questions that . The compliance support i have to say has first class i have my own personal Compliance manager who has spent and invested so much time on my cases with me that i have been signed off very quickly. If you are thinking about changing Network in the near future do not hesitate to contact MSN.

20 Nov 2017 I have worked with and known a few different networks in the past but have been with MSN for nearly 3 years now. I have to say that I love the way that they operate and work. They are extremely helpful and are always trying to assist and make the brokering and advising job as easy as possible while also being very compliant and professional. They give my brokerage firm the opportunity to work smartly, in a manner we choose and they do not dictate to us nor make one feel that they are trying to "catch you out" in any way. You feel like you know all of the network's staff personally and that we are all part of the same big family. Love it here.

Networks often alienate, and bully their ARs, yet MSN have allowed me the scope, and flexibility to climb to the top of their league table without being hindered by irrelevant minutae, whilst being expertly backed by Jo and her Compliance team....Their balance is currently outstanding; long may our relationship flourish.......DW

15 Nov 2017 I have been with MSN for 9 years. During this time the business has grown from just me to a Ltd company with a number of advisors. They listen and guide you to were you want to be, with sensible advice, that I do not believe you get from other networks! If you are thinking of going the AR route I would suggest talking to them. It my sound cheesy but I a not paid to put this here, but just wish to give my honest feedback.

13 Sep 2016 I joined MSN from one of the biggest national networks, MAB, and have also worked for most of the big networks over the years, MSN are like a breath of fresh air in comparison. They are there to support my business and are always helpful and professional when I do need support and the software is also top drawer and user friendly. I would strongly advise any other broker to consider changing to MSN. It would be the best decision you have made. Personally I plan to enjoy a long and mutually beneficial relationship with MSN for many years to come!

15 Oct 2013 In the business for 20 years- was with PTFS - since they started, Changed 18 months ago. So modern compared with PTFS.. IT 100% better. this HLP is ideal for the smaller broker and if your worried about ANYTHING before you join- talk to them and they will understand and help. from what I understand from other brokers they are as good for medium and large brokers as well. Charges are very fair. If you need help they respond quickly but leave you alone if you want to be left alone!

12 Jul 2012 Though I have only worked in the Financial Services sector for some 4 years (though I spent 7 years in the sector approx. 20 years ago), I have attended numerous courses with a number of different companies and I would like to say that your 2 day course earlier this week was quite excellent and made a great impression on me and easily exceeded my expectations. The trainers were knowledgeable and positive and made the learning fun (even though the subject matter was sometimes difficult) without distracting us. It was well organised with the right information being provided and from my conversation with some of the other attendees I know that they too were happy and impressed.
6 Jul 2012 We have been in financial services for over 25 years and have been an AR since 1999. We have been a member of a couple of other networks and can honestly say that HLP are the best so far. From the initial enquiry to receiving our start date, the service has been excellant. We have been constantly updated and any queries are answered promptly and efficiently. They specialise in the mortgage and protection markets (which suits our business model). We do not have to conform to IFA regulation which makes the disclosure process a lot simpler to explain to clients. We started with HLP in March and the compliance and administration support has been fantastic! The compliance guys are extremely helpful and the mortgagestream system has made our sales process more efficient and compliant! Our first commission payments are starting to come through and are paid promptly. We even receive an email confirming they have the payment and a gentle reminder to set the case as completed on the system so they can make the payment. In addition, the directors are readily available to discuss any issues and/or ideas. They have agreed to allow us to trial 2 providers we used previously and are totally committed to providing opportunities to their advisers. A forwarding thinking network with friendly and extremely efficient staff!

27 Jun 2012 Moved over from another network a few months back and HLP has been a breath of fresh air. Every aspect is an improvement. Charges are just about the lowest I've seen, extranet is simple to understand and contains all the information you need in a logical and easy to use layout, and the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and supportive. They seem to understand what brokers need and make it as simple as possible to actually do the job.

Through their personal, friendly but positive attitude they have helped re-energise me at a time when I was considering leaving the industry. 8 Dec 2011 As a recently returned to the industry Broker and with all the changes that have happened in the last few years it has been a real relief to have such a supportive team around you and HLP are certainly that. Due to major changes with staff and moving offices there has been alot of the admin type work put on the backburner and the guys at HLP have been really understanding. 2 Dec 2011 The team at Homeloan Partnership is very approachable, you can even leave a message for those at Director level and they will personaly call you back, I have been with them for nearly 3 years and in the industry for over 25 years, they try hard to be understanding as we all have different personalities but the fact that Directors are approachable is excellent.

3 Nov 2011 There are many things to be said about Home Loan Partnership Ltd. All of them excellent. Having been a member of this network for over 42 months I can clarify that the performance of the Network team is outstanding, their registration process for new members faultless. They go the extra mile to ensure transparancy, fairness and professionalisim and are always looking for new areas of business for their members in this difficult market that we now find ourselves in. Their software systems are excellent, commission runs are always prompt and correct of which I would suggest is the biggest negative for any firm if the commissions for a firm are not administered in this manner. They have an excellent compliance team who are all great at their job along with being fair and human ! To sumarise, I would highly recommend this network for any firm looking for a change, whether you are currently with another network or are currently DA. Our company will remain to be with this network for a very long time to come yet.

1 Sep 2010 What an excellent network...the fees are fair and tailored to fit in with your expected business levels, the file reviews are sensible and educational, the IT systems are second to none, the staff are helpful and supportive, the commission is paid on time and there are many partners there that you can pass clients to generate different income streams. Joining them has been the best move i have ever made!!

24 May 2006 I joined MSN on referral from a good friend and can honestly say they have been most helpful. I joined completely new to the business (coming from a compliance background) and they have literally held my hand to get me off and running. Compliance easy going and approachable, allows you to get on with it and works on trust and respect. Andy & Jo in compliance are the greatest!!
15 Jan 2006 Excellent support from a dedicated approachable team. Compliance and sales support are particularly good. If one things lets them down it is the tie to the packaging arm of the business. Payments are prompt. Systems good and have lots of scope for improvement. Business development and marketing support are improving.
3 Jan 2006 I left one of the biggest national networks, MAB, as I was sick of meetings, seminars, reports and KPI and target meetings. Ihave been left to do what I do, arrange mortgages and insurance, by mortgage support network, and the difference in productivity is incredible. I have tremendous support, both sales and compliance-wise, and the software is excellent - not one crash so far! Strongly reccommend to you.
15 Nov 2005 Not the cheapest network but then again its true that you get what you pay for. Generaly the service is good as it was when they were just packagers.
