Shawbrook sees immediate pick-up on new digital application process

The Bank’s “E-AIP” service for residential investment has been well-received

Since launching the improved functionality on April 20th, Shawbrook Commercial is pleased to report an encouraging reception to the launch of their new digital application service – “E-AIP”.

After months of systems design work to improve the application journey, this service is now available across the residential investment suite with over 50% of applications across the range arriving via E-AIP. To date, of those brokers who have used E-AIP over 25% have received a hard credit backed IMO online in under 15 minutes, with the remainder being referred and a decision received within 4 hours – a dramatic improvement from the 48 hour historic SLA.

Sitting within the existing “E-quote” section of Shawbrook’s online platform “Broker Hub”, the improved service is available to all Shawbrook Broker Partners, delivering pre-population features which reduce duplication throughout the application process and further enhancing the user experience.

The end result is a vastly improved online system which utilises data more efficiently, and delivers a fast decision that the broker can work with.
