21 June 2016

With just a few weeks to go to the first Bristol Mortgage Business Expo (MBE) all the exhibitor stands have been sold for the finance event on 6th July.

The Expo, being held at Ashton Gate, has been enthusiastically supported by over 40 exhibitors including specialist lenders, building societies, retirement planning companies and industry bodies such as the FCA, the Equity Release Council and the Society of Mortgage Professionals.

There is also a topical and well balanced MBE seminar programme for which brokers, advisers and IFAs can earn valuable Cll CPD points. Keynote speakers include Lynda Blackwell from the FCA, Joe Heayes of the Nationwide, David Whittaker of Mortgages for Business, Matthew Tooth of LendInvest, Gary Webster representing the Equity Release Council and Alain Desmier of E-Finity Leads.

To complement the MBE seminars, there’s also a series of CPD accredited talks in the Aldermore Theatre which will cover topics such as buy to let, bridging finance and new build opportunities for brokers.

There will also be a panel discussion for introducers to discover more about commercial, business and development finance, followed by a free drinks reception and buffet lunch, provided in association with Aldermore, to give delegates and exhibitors the opportunity to network in a more social setting.

Registration for visitors is free and they will have the perfect opportunity to directly discuss the finance and planning needs for their clients with major financial brands.

Mike Mikunda, from MBE commented: “We are very pleased that the response to the inaugural Bristol Expo. It has been exceptionally well supported by the lending and finance industry and I’m delighted that all the stands have now been sold which demonstrates that lenders and retirement planners are keen to speak to the brokers and IFAs in the south west. Registration is free at the website and we have had a very positive response from professionals signing up to attend, so it will be a very popular first Expo in Bristol.”
