United Trust Bank appoints new BDM to Asset Finance sales team

13 February 2018

United Trust Bank has appointed Chris Leverett as a Business Development Manager for Asset Finance.

Chris will be responsible for developing new broker relationships in the Central region including Wales whilst also maintaining United Trust Bank’s existing broker network in those areas. He will report to Asset Finance Sales Manager, Keith Sangwin.

Chris has more than 30 years’ experience in the Asset Finance industry. He has previously held senior business development roles at Paragon Bank, Paccar Financial and Fortis Lease and has also worked on the broker side of the industry.

100% of United Trust Bank’s business is introduced through brokers and it is committed to supporting and developing a growing number of broker partners. It has continued to build a team of knowledgeable and adaptable sales people, credit managers and administrators and has also increased the range of assets it will fund and refinance. These include a wide selection of wheeled and tracked vehicles such as construction and agricultural plant, HGVs and trailers, buses and coaches, performance cars, a variety of manufacturing and engineering equipment including CNC machinery and a range of technology for the media sector.

Keith Sangwin, Asset Finance Sales Manager at United Trust Bank said;

“Chris has a wealth of Asset Finance experience and I’m delighted he has decided to come and work with us at United Trust Bank. Our business has grown considerably in the last few years and we have increased the number of brokers we regularly deal with and the range of assets we’ll fund and refinance.

“UTB’s product and service proposition together with our ‘broker only’ promise differentiates us from our competitors. I am sure Chris is going to enjoy taking that message out to his existing and new broker contacts and that he will make a significant contribution to UTB’s continued growth and success.”
