Just Mortgages expands following most successful year ever

Just Mortgages is taking on two new Financial Service Directors (FSDs) following its most successful year to date. These are just two of a raft of appointments that also include back office staff. The new FSDs will support the significant numbers of new mortgage brokers joining Just Mortgages every month.
In 2017 Just Mortgages saw a 40% increase in mortgage volumes which saw turnover increase by 14% and profits by 62%. The business has also seen broker numbers rise from 155 in 2016 to 200 by the end of 2017.
In response to this growth, Just Mortgages has now promoted divisional sales directors (DSDs) Steve Williams and Tommy Taylor to FSDs, showing the company’s dedication to developing the careers of its people, as Steve explains:

It demonstrates that right to the top of this business, Just Mortgages grows talent and recruits from within. Steve, 35, lives in Woburn Sands, Bucks, with his wife Nicola and two-year-old son Rory. He joined Just Mortgages just under two years ago as divisional sales director, before that he worked in retail banking at Santander and more recently, at Barclays where he worked his way up to area manager within the Retail Banking Network.
In his new role, he will be based in one of the group’s Colchester offices and look after a total of 45 brokers based in Anglia, Kent, Essex and the Metropolitan Regions.
Tommy, 31, has been at Just Mortgages for 12 years. He started as an adviser in 2006 and became a DSD in 2012.
As FSD, Tommy will be responsible for London, Three Counties, Middlesex and the head office telephony team. He said: “I think the fact that I have been both an adviser and a DSD in this company has given me a really strong understanding of the business at every level, which will help me in my new role.
