Spicerhaart Part Exchange to expand team and move offices following year of rapid growth
07 February 2019
Spicerhaart Part Exchange and Assisted Move is looking to move offices and take on more staff following a year of rapid growth.
Acting for builders and developers across the UK, Spicerhaart Part Exchange and Assisted Move provides a comprehensive range of part exchange and assisted move services, including its own ground-breaking funded part exchange proposition.
Spicerhaart Part Exchange and Assisted Move was launched in 2007 rebranded in 2017 and has enjoyed huge growth over the past few years, now acting for more than 70 clients.
This ranges from some of the UK’s biggest developers - including Persimmon, Taylor Wimpey, Redrow, McCarthy & Stone and Barratt Homes - to smaller independent builders and innovative developers like Nu Living. Just this week, the business won another new contract, with North West developer Russell Armer Homes.
The part-exchange business has doubled staff numbers in the past 5 years and as a result of the increase in business, is now actively seeking to expand even further by taking on an additional sales consultant and two new business development managers. The team is also looking to relocate to a larger office in Sheffield.
Jan Biggins, National Sales Manager at Spicerhaart Part Exchange and Assisted Move said she thinks the slowdown in the market has encouraged more developers to look at adding a part-exchange option for buyers:
“As a result of Brexit, the property market has been a lot slower, and developers are finding it considerably harder to sell their new builds.
“However, those that are adapting offer a 'complete package', including options for those who want to buy but are unable to sell their current home, are securing more sales.
Being part of the wider Spicerhaart group gives the part-exchange and assisted move division the scope to grow because it has the support of so many estate agency branches throughout England and Wales.
Neil Knight, Business Development Director added:
“It is a really exciting time for us and we have the opportunity to grow even further. But we can’t do that unless we have the right people on board, so we are keen to hear from anyone who would like to be a part of our expanding team.”
