Previously with AJ Gallagher, Limahl has been appointed to strengthen the commercial business development at Berkley Alexander to cater for growth in this space. Limahl joins from Intasure, part of AJ Gallagher, where he previously held a number of sales and business development roles, including Team Leader, Senior Sales Advisor and most latterly, Commercial Sales Associate. Mark Hutchings, Managing Director of Berkeley Alexander, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Limahl into the business. Service and motivation simply ooze from him; his career in the hospitality industry has honed those customer service skills and combined with his knowledge of commercial insurance, he will be a strong addition to our growing business development team.
“Limahl’s appointment is indictive of our commitment to stay ahead of demand to maintain high service levels for our intermediary partners around the UK. Commercial lines in particular has proved to be a high growth area and I put the success of that, in part, down to our business development strategy. You won’t find what I call ‘coffee Business Development Managers’ at Berkeley Alexander. Our Business Development Managers are more about working in collaboration with intermediaries to help them interrogate the data they have available and make best use of it to maximise business opportunities.”
