David Robinson to leave Shawbrook

07 August 2019

David Robinson, Sales & Distribution Director of Shawbrook’s Residential Mortgages team, is to leave the business after a successful 18 months.

Robinson has played an important role in building and evolving the specialist lender’s proposition, including the re-vamp of Shawbrook’s second charge mortgage offering. Following the coming together of the Shawbrook Commercial and Residential businesses into one “Property Division”, and the implementation of a leadership restructure to match the new Divisional picture, Robinson has taken the decision to leave the business to pursue new endeavours.

Commenting on his departure, David Robinson says: “I feel extremely lucky to have been a part of this journey and am hugely proud of the work we have done in the secured lending space. Following the restructure, it felt like a good time to part ways with Shawbrook and I am grateful to them for being supportive of this decision. I will be taking some time off, before pursuing a new role in the lending space.”

Shawbrook Property Division, Managing Director, John Eastgate added: “I’d like to thank David for the important contribution he has made, and we wish him well for the future. His professionalism has been a great asset to the Bank and I’m sure his knowledge and experience will be put to good use in his next role”.
