Rapid Quote to include Mori+ from Vitality
08 August 2019
Broker PMI comparison portal Rapid Quote has made a new addition to its system by adding Vitality’s latest initiative, Mori+, which will be included on every qualifying moratorium quote generated by Rapid Quote users.
Vitality announced last week that Mori+ offers a 15% discount against their standard Personal Healthcare Moratorium rates if the customer can answer ‘No’ to the following medical declaration:
In the last three years, has your customer or any other person to be insured on this plan:
- Experienced symptoms, or
- Received any advice from a healthcare professional, or
- Received treatment or have treatment planned or expected (including prescribed or over the counter medication)
The Mori+ option is available on Vitality’s Quick Quote for all Moratorium quotations produced from 5 August 2019 onwards.
Rapid Quote users will now have access to this pricing and if the same medical declaration question is answered “no” on their portal, then Mori+ rates will be returned along with Vitality’s regular rates.
Rapid Quote have worked to introduce a number of new initiatives from Vitality where possible, in a bid to give Brokers more choice when comparing PMI quotes.
Karl Hewstone, Director of IFA Health Sales at Vitality said: “Vitality are pleased to launch a new pricing initiative for customers seeking Moratorium cover under our Personal Healthcare plan. After answering a simple health question, advisers can now offer their uninsured customers a 15% discount off our already competitive standard Moratorium rates. Users of the Rapid Quote system will be able to access this new pricing option from 5 August 2019.”
Steve Warden, Director of Rapid Quote, added: “Our long-standing relationship with Vitality has been further strengthened by the introduction of Mori+ to our portal. From our perspective, adding more products and options to the Rapid Quote portfolio works in everyone’s favour - Brokers are given more flexibility and options when generating quotes, Insurers have the benefit of featuring more products in front of our 500 users, and for us, such additions support our growth and innovation as a business. We’re delighted to work proactively with Vitality to add Mori+ to our portal”.
