Sarah Wade joins Foundation Home Loans as Product Marketing Specialist

Foundation Home Loans, the intermediary-only specialist lender, has today announced the appointment of Sarah Wade as its new Product Marketing Specialist.
Sarah will report to Director of Marketing, Jeff Knight, and will have a specific focus on Foundation’s specialist residential range for borrowers who have less than straightforward requirements, including those with credit blips such as defaults and CCJs, or who may have been turned down by high-street/mainstream lenders.
Foundation Home Loans has a strategic goal of increasing its residential mortgage market share through 2020 and beyond, and Sarah will work on its product range, criteria and service offering.
Sarah’s most recent mortgage market role was as Senior Channel Marketing Manager at Kensington, while she previously worked at GE Money Home Lending in a variety of marketing, communication, PR and brand roles over a 12-year period.
In 2019 Sarah won the ‘Marketer of the Year’ award at the Women’s Recognition Awards covering financial services.
At the start of July, Foundation introduced a number of criteria changes across its residential range targeting its support at cases which advisers may see as less straightforward, or extra-ordinary. These include self-employed and employed clients who don’t fit the mainstream, who have unusual income, multiple incomes, high commissions or bonus payments, or those with credit blips.
These criteria changes followed a further update to Foundation’s specialist residential products including raising its LTV from 75% to 80%, the launch of new five-year deals, and a new offering for first-time buyers.
