David Miles to give his views on the housing market

The housing market is a huge topic and specialist buy-to-let lender Landbay will be delving into this with the eminent economist Professor David Miles CBE.
Landbay’s CEO John Goodall will be hosting a live webinar with David Miles and getting his expert insight into the economics of mortgages and housing and the future outlook.
David Miles is highly qualified to comment as he is Professor of Financial Economics at Imperial College and a former member of the Monetary Policy Committee at the Bank of England. He was author of the Miles Report back in 2004, commissioned by the Treasury to review the mortgage market including long-term fixed interest rates – a subject which has been in the news again more recently.
Topics will include:

- UK Government policy and the impact on rising house prices
- Outlook for inflation and interest rates
- Forecast for the post-Brexit economy
After a short presentation, there will be a Q&A session and the audience is invited to submit questions.
