SDL Surveying team continue to hit qualification highs
09 August 2021
National residential surveying and valuations firm, SDL Surveying, has today (9th August 2021) announced details of a number of staff who have achieved significant qualifications in recent weeks, as part of its ongoing training and CPD programme.
Mark Richardson has become the latest surveyor to pass his Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) as part of SDL’s structured training/mentorship scheme, while Lauren Wilson is the first SDL-sponsored member of the Operations Team to become an AssocRICs surveyor via the Sava pathway.
Elise Bradley has self-funded her way to AssocRICs, also via the Sava pathway, while Sarah Smith has become a RICS Fellow (FRICS), showing that SDL support professional development within the organisation all the way up to achieving the most experienced qualifications.
SDL has also outlined that a number of Operations Team employees are submitting directly to the RICS for their AssocRICS qualifications, with a further pipeline of 12 employees learning via SAVA to reach the same goal – two will complete in the next three to six months, four are on their second year, and six are on their first year of the course.
A further five surveyors are currently taking part in SDL’s APC training programme at present and will be assessed over the course of the next year.
Simon Jackson, Managing Director of SDL Surveying, commented:
“It’s always incredibly gratifying to see staff members working their way through our structured training and professional development programme and achieving some of the highest possible qualifications in the sector. This hasn’t happened by accident and the hard work these people have put into their studies is incredible especially given the last 18 months they have had, having to work from home for the business and put in those hours of study. We are all very proud of their achievements and it gives us further incentive to keep on providing the very best environment for our staff to ensure they can achieve everything they wish to in surveying.”
