Halifax Intermediaries joins Submissions Brain

Halifax Intermediaries has become the latest lender to join Submissions Brain, the new multi-lender application and submission gateway from mortgage technology expert Mortgage Brain.

Delivered via an API, it will provide intermediaries with the ability to submit Decisions in Principle (DIP) and receive a decision back through the Submissions Brain platform. The initial launch will be with Just Mortgages, Fluent Mortgages, and several other firms with a full roll-out to all intermediaries set to follow.

The platform was previously known as Lendex, but was renamed as part of an exciting, wholescale rebranding across Mortgage Brain and its various propositions.

Halifax is the third lender since June to integrate with Submissions Brain, following the additions of Accord Mortgages and TSB, with further lenders set to join in the months ahead. They join the likes of Nationwide Building Society, Virgin Money, Coventry Building Society and Platform on the platform.

Submissions Brain is the latest innovation from Mortgage Brain, allowing advisers to request DIPs and submit full applications directly to partner lenders, all through a single login, while an audit trail is maintained to ensure that compliance requirements are met.

Submissions Brain was made available to all intermediaries earlier this year following a hugely successful pilot and is integrated with both Sourcing Brain (formerly MortgageBrain Anywhere), the award-winning online product sourcing solution, and The Key, Mortgage Brain’s leading CRM system, providing intermediaries with even greater time-saving benefits as both systems allow advisers to pre-populate client and property information. It is also available as a freestanding platform to enable access for all UK advisers.
