Charity Ball launched in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society

11 April 2022

A Charity Ball has been launched to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.

The Ball will take place at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London on 23rd September 2022 and is being arranged by William Lloyd-Hayward, Group Chief Operating Officer at The Brightstar Group.

Will says: “This is a personal story, a personal goal and personal effort. Back in 2016 my Dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s / Dementia, and his condition has continued to deteriorate since. Whilst he is still a healthy and happy Dad, I have seen first-hand the damage this disease does to a person and their loved ones. I have always cared about wanting to make a difference and play my part personally in raising money for causes which can help change lives.

“So, I want to host my first Autumn Alzheimer’s Charity Ball and am doing so with Laura Calcroft whose own family has seen first-hand what this disease can do. We want a night to raise awareness of this disease, raise vital money for Alzheimer’s Society to support their work, whilst also seeing people enjoy their night and making my Dad proud!”

The event will include a drinks reception, three course meal, celebrity guest speaker, auction, DJ and dancing, plus more. Packages available include Platinum Sponsor, Event Sponsor, Table Package (10 people) and have Half Table Package (5 People) as well as many other ways that people can get involved. At least 50% of the cost of all sponsorships and tables will be donated directly to the charity. For more information, please contact Will directly on william@brightstarhub.co.uk.
