Stewart Green joins United Trust Bank as Key Accounts Manager ahead of Buy to Let product launch
25 April 2022
UTB Mortgages for Intermediaries has announced the appointment of Stewart Green as Buy to Let (BTL) Key Accounts Manager as it continues to develop its new BTL offering and distribution.
Stewart has joined UTB following the recent appointment of Barry Luhmann as Head of Buy to Let (BTL) as the Bank prepares to launch a new suite of products into the BTL sector. Stewart brings a great deal of experience to UTB and is recognised as an expert in the BTL industry having held senior roles at lenders including Castle Trust, Vida Homeloans and M:Qube as well as running his own brokerage.
The announcement comes ahead of the soon to be announced BTL product launch which will join the established Residential Mortgage and Second Charge loan products, aimed at customers who aren’t best served by mainstream lenders.
Mike Walters, Sales Director – Mortgages, United Trust Bank commented: “Stewart brings a wealth of BTL experience to UTB and is a great addition to our already very highly regarded Mortgage Sales Team.
“Suffice to say, our launch is imminent and we’re looking forward to rolling out the new BTL products to all our existing Introducers and newly registered firms over the next few months. I’m confident intermediaries will be pleased with what we have created, maintaining our common-sense approach to underwriting and utilising many of the same digital processes as our established Residential Mortgage and Second Charge Loan products meaning brokers can expect a familiar service proposition that automates the admin and leaves humans to do the real value-add activities”.
Upon joining UTB, Stewart Green said: “I’m very pleased to have joined an exciting lender that is really going places in the specialist sector. UTB have made waves in the mortgage market in the last few years with great products, a fresh approach and leading-edge technology. Judging by the buzz already building in the market, UTB’s new BTL offering will have a similar impact and be equally well received by brokers looking to place business for customers who need more attention than the High Street lenders are willing to provide.”
