Mortgage Brain connects Acre’s broker community to Santander
11 October 2022
UK, 11 October 2022: Mortgage Brain today announced its API development to enable brokers using Acre’s unique mortgage platform the ability to connect to top lender Santander, for one click mortgage decisions.
The direct API connectivity allows Acre’s broker network to connect seamlessly to Santander to obtain a full decision in principle (DIP) and pre-populated full mortgage application (FMA). The DIP result is returned within 30 seconds and brokers get daily case tracking updates, all via the API connection. Acre’s unique verification system ensures all data is in place before initiating the request to Santander, making the application truly “one-click.” This partnership ensures that end-users and ultimately consumers can benefit from a consistent user experience and get greater certainty earlier in their application process.
Following the acquisition of Mortgage Engine earlier this year, Mortgage Brain continues its drive to create seamless integrations with distributors and lenders across the entire mortgage market.
Cloe Atkinson, Chief Operating Officer at Mortgage Brain commented:
“I’m delighted that we are already realising our vision to transform the distribution of mortgages in the UK. Acre is one of many distributors we are helping with the creation of our industry plumbing that ensures lenders can connect to multiple distributors and aggregators. And gives distributors greater ease and efficiencies to integrate with lenders”.
Justus Brown, Founder & CEO at Acre added:
“Our tech helps brokers work smarter and faster while delivering better outcomes for their clients. Santander is one of the UK’s most important lenders. Enabling instant DIP for their mortgages in our ecosystem means that brokers will now save time when using one of the biggest influencers in the market, at the click of a button, with a DIP in a matter of minutes. Rewiring the mortgage process requires collaboration of many and buy-in of many. We look forward to working with Mortgage Brain to extend this approach to other key lenders.”
