Hanley Economic Building Society appoints Martyn Hoccom as Non-Executive Director

Hanley Economic Building Society has appointed Martyn Hoccom as a Non-Executive Director where he has become the newest board member and will assume a key position on the Society’s Risk Committee.
Martyn has over 30 years’ experience in the banking industry where he has spent most of his career working in the treasury and risk management areas of major banks. His most recent role was as Group Treasurer of First Abu Dhabi Bank and he has also held senior positions at RBS and Lloyds Bank.
Martyn grew up in the Midlands and is an economics graduate of the University of Birmingham.
Founded in 1854, Hanley Economic is one of Staffordshire’s leading mutual building societies. It has over 20,000 members and seven branches in Biddulph, Cheadle, Hanley City Centre, Newcastle, Longton, Stone and at its Festival Park, Stoke on Trent headquarters.
