Mutual Vision Promotes David Bennett to Chief Revenue Officer
22 May 2024
Mutual Vision, a technology provider for specialist lenders, today announced the promotion of David Bennett to the role of chief revenue officer.
Bennett will be responsible for overseeing all revenue-generating activities within MV, focusing on developing strategies, managing sales channels, and identifying market opportunities to drive revenue growth and maximise profitability.
Bennett joined Mutual Vision in October 2023, as the business development director. In his new role, he will report into chief executive Tim Bowen.
Tim Bowen, the chief executive of Mutual Vision, said: “David has already become a key executive and will now play a crucial role in aligning sales, marketing, and other revenue-focused functions to achieve our business objectives.”
Mutual Vision employs 90 people and is headquartered in Wilmslow, Cheshire. While it has worked with clients such as StreamBank and Kingdom Bank, Mutual Vision has also provided banking technology to 23 of the 43 mutuals in the UK. It was established in 2001 by a group of building societies and is still owned by six mutuals — including Monmouthshire, Chorley, and Harpenden.
David Bennett, Mutual Vision’s new revenue director, said: “I am looking forward to supporting Tim and Mutual Vision, strengthening our relationships and exploring how we can build on version 1 of MV Solar. There’s huge untapped potential in the market, particularly in the specialist space, for a ready-made banking platform that can be tailored to lenders’ needs — a digital ‘bank in a box’ should prove revolutionary. With the launch of MV Solar having been so successful, I want to use the experience I have in the banking and fintech spaces to ensure we become the go-to tech provider for specialist lenders looking to increase their geographical reach outside their traditional branch network”.
Bowen says Bennett’s promotion reflects the part he has played in the successful launch of MV Solar — a cloud-native, digital banking platform unveiled.
Tim Bowen said: “The launch of version 1 of MV Solar at the BSA conference in Manchester at the start of May was a big success and the way he orchestrated the launch proves he’s ready for the chief revenue officer role.”
