Just Mortgages launches “Coffee with compliance” series

Just Mortgages, one of the UK’s largest mortgage brokerages, has launched its new podcast series, "Coffee with Compliance." This initiative, born out of the success of their Facebook group aimed at enhancing communication with brokers, is set to provide an in-depth look at the importance of compliance.

As the number of brokers working with Just Mortgages continues to grow, so does the opportunity to enhance and maintain effective and engaging communication. Recognising that brokers have diverse preferences for how they receive information—whether through emails, Facebook, or WhatsApp—Just Mortgages expanded its communication channels to ensure no broker is left out, taking this a step further with the creation of "Coffee with Compliance."

"Coffee with Compliance" is a podcast-style series featuring casual, yet informative, conversations between Ashley Edwards, Financial Services Director at Just Mortgages and the host, and various members of the Just Mortgages compliance team. Every Wednesday, over a cup of coffee, they delve into the nuances of compliance, offering insights that many brokers may not be aware of. The goal is to reveal the hidden gems of the compliance department, which does much more than merely oversee adherence to regulations. It plays a crucial role in keeping brokers’ licenses safe, ensuring that their businesses remain protected and viable.

The series, which has already completed 14 successful episodes, covers a wide range of topics relevant to brokers. For instance, one episode explores the role of Regional Quality Managers (RQMs) and Annual Competence Assessments (ACAs) within the broader compliance framework. Each session is designed to be not only informative but also engaging, encouraging brokers to appreciate the full extent of the support they receive from the compliance team.
