Hope Capital celebrates a trio of Elite Women Award wins

07 March 2025

Hope Capital’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Head of Sales, and Operations & Finance Manager have all been declared as Elite Women by Mortgage Introducer.

Kate Cowan, CFO, Kim Parker, Head of Sales, and Charlotte Holt, Operations & Finance Manager have been recognised as leading women in the financial sector for their achievements and dedication to diversity and inclusion.

The Elite Women Award receives hundreds of applications each year, with the winners selected for their work in overcoming gender barriers and achieving notable professional milestones

The achievement is particularly significant for the lender’s CFO, who has received the award for the third consecutive year, after being named an Elite Woman in 2024 and 2023. Kate Cowan joined Hope Capital in 2019 and was promoted to CFO in 2023, where as well as overseeing all financial matters, she supports Hope Capital’s CEO, Jonathan Sealey, with the strategic development of the business and its ambitious growth plans.

In addition, Kim Parker, who joined Hope Capital in 2022 has also been recognised as an Elite Woman. Since joining the business, Kim has progressed throughout the sales department from an internal BDE to now Head of Sales, where she now leads the team to achieve the strategic goals of the business.

Recently promoted to Operations & Finance Manager, Charlotte Holt now leads a new business support department, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality across the company’s operations.

Jonathan Sealey, CEO at Hope Capital, said:

“Identifying and celebrating women who are not only changing the economic landscape, but also playing their part in removing the glass ceiling is paramount. The Elite Women report is the first of its kind in the mortgage sector, and takes a broader approach, not only focusing on female-founded firms, but capturing a more diverse group of companies and telling a richer story. I’m unbelievably proud of Kate, Kim and Charlotte who thoroughly deserve this recognition for their hard work and determination.

“Congratulations to all of this year’s Elite Women – we will continue to play our part in supporting this essential work.”

Hope Capital has been dedicated to gender equality and championing women in the workplace since it was established back in 2011. Having signed the Woman in Finance Charter in 2018, the lender has proudly renewed its commitment each year, growing from 78% of its senior management team being women in 2024, to now 82% in 2025.
