Bath Building Society - New, simplified online retention process now available
13 March 2025
New online retention process is live.
When requesting retention products for existing Bath Building Society customers, Intermediaries can now download an Authority to Disclose form from the Intermediary Help & Support section of our website and upload as part of our refreshed online retention process detailed on the How To Submit A Case page.
The retention form allows you to input both customer and intermediary information, as well as choose the product you’d like us to generate an offer for. Additionally, we will require you to upload bank account details to ensure prompt payment of the procuration fee. After submission, we will provide an offer, which must be signed by the applicant(s) and returned to us so we can proceed with arranging the new product.
Mortgage Awards - best first time buyer lender category.
We are delighted to share that Bath Building Society were highly commended in the Best First Time Buyer Lender category at the MoneyAge Mortgage Awards 2025. Focusing on our exclusive Rent A Room and innovative Buy For Uni products, these specialist mortgages offer unique solutions for first time buyers looking to boost mortgage affordability calculations.
Meet the team - Ben King, BDM
Ben first got a taste for mortgage sales when he spent a couple days on work experience with the Society. He joined the mortgage team straight from college, obtaining his CeMap qualification. Since then he has gained experience in all areas of the mortgage team including ops, direct mortgage sales and is now an Intermediary BDM. When he’s not working Ben is a keen lacrosse player and enjoys outdoor adventure sports including rock climbing, hiking and wild camping as well as walking his rescue dog, Stella.
