Phoebus Deepens Community Engagement and Social Impact

08 April 2025

Phoebus Software Ltd, the market’s leading mortgages and savings account servicing technology provider, has reinforced its dedication to social responsibility through strategic community partnerships, educational initiatives, and charitable support. Outlined in its latest ESG Report, the company continues to prioritise positive contributions to society, ensuring its impact extends beyond the workplace.

Empowering Communities Through Volunteering and Charity

Each year Phoebus employees vote to choose a charity partner. For 2025, employees selected The Family Care Trust, a dedicated charity based in Solihull, offering professional care and support services for more than 25 years to individuals with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and physical disabilities. Phoebus will be supporting the Family Care Trust throughout the year by fundraising and volunteering.

In 2024, Phoebus’ partnership with Helping Hands in Leamington provided employees with opportunities to volunteer by preparing meals for vulnerable individuals. Employees also receive one paid day off annually to volunteer for social causes. In addition to volunteering, Phoebus has funded new equipment for the Helping Hands kitchen, ensuring greater resources for the charity’s mission.

Education and Industry Collaboration

For nine years, Phoebus has supported Aston University’s Computer Science Industry Club, offering guest lectures, CV-writing support, and placement opportunities to students. The partnership bridges the gap between academia and industry, helping shape the next generation of tech professionals.

In addition, partnering with Agile West Midlands, Phoebus hosts regular ‘Talking Tech’ knowledge-sharing events that foster innovation and professional development within the broader tech community.

Phoebus remains committed to expanding its community initiatives, strengthening industry collaborations, and enhancing its social impact: “This is something that we, as a leadership team, are fully committed to,” says Kate Langton, chief people officer at Phoebus. “Partnerships like Family Care Trust and our educational collaborations are central to our ESG strategy, ensuring that our impact is meaningful and far-reaching.”
