Society of Mortgage Professionals confirm Autumn roadshows

The Society of Mortgage Professionals have announced their latest series of regional roadshows.

Beginning in Northern Ireland on 22 September, the five half-day mortgage & protection events will provide delegates with the latest market analysis and help them identify practical opportunities for both them and their clients.

Speakers include Simon Chalk from Age Partnership and the Equity Release Council; Martin Reynolds from SimplyBiz mortgages, talking about the current and future impact of regulation on intermediaries and Ray Boulger from John Charcol, with a comprehensive mortgage market update.

In addition, Aldermore will give an overview of the buy-to-let market. F&TRC will outline the respective added value benefits from different providers and what advisers need to consider within their protection recommendations. And Zurich will identify the key considerations when managing mortgage risk.

“As well as examining the state of the current market, we aim to highlight the potential of alternative areas where advisers may not have been active recently and that may offer them new business opportunities,” commented head of operations & membership, Gary Little, who confirmed that each event is free to attend and offers up to 3hrs 35 minutes of structured CPD.
